I am back from a holiday and no wonder I hauled like crazy. I started using a few of them during my trip itself so I am already having opinion about some of the products. I picked this lipstick from the Rosy Matte range of Maybelline, which is yet to launch here in India but honestly the shade selection was limited, so I do not really feel bad about the collection coming late. Out of the 4 shades in this line, this is the darkest of them all, so you can guess, it is really not ideal for the average Indian skin tone.

For Best Results:
Apply the lip color starting in the center of your lip. Work from the center to the outer edges and then follow the contours of your mouth. Glide the lip color across the entire bottom lip.
My Experience with Maybelline Rosy Peach Rosy Matte Mat3 Lipstick:
As the lipstick belongs to the Colorsensational range the packaging is typical. They have kept the body matte keeping up with the theme of the collection. There is a color coded sticker with name on the base which is a pro. The cap shuts with a satisfying click and hence it is pretty chic to carry in your makeup pouch without ruining it. I find the packaging to be simple, smart and effective.
The texture the lipstick is a disappointment of you are looking for a “matte” lipstick. This is pretty creamy as you can see in the swatches so I am slightly disappointed. I want the claims to be true, be it a makeup or a skincare product. In general the texture is smooth and creamy, so no issues with that; but it is definitely not matte. There are no shimmers in the shade, hence it applies soft and silky on the lips. The pigmentation is medium, 2-3 swipes are required to bring out the real shade. It does not completely cover lip pigmentation, so a lip liner is recommended if you want the color to pop full on.
The shade Rosy Peach is more pink than peach. I would I have loved to see a bit more peachy undertones in the shade. It is a pastel baby pink in my opinion. The shade is tricky for people with darker skin tones, so I apply it more on good-skin days; else it tends to make the area around lips darker. It is a pretty shade for the summers if you want to sport pale lips with colored liner on the eyes. It would have been great if the texture was more matte, especially for the summers.
The staying power is less as the texture is creamy. It transfers to cups and cutlery, so the maximum wear time without any base would be 3 hours maximum. It keeps the lips hydrated for some more time which is good for creamy lipstick lovers. You get the benefit of moisturisation along with the pale pink summer shade. For me it is a normal lipstick, nothing great but again not to be trashed also. If you like creamy lipsticks for everyday wear; you can give it a try.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Maybelline Rosy Peach Rosy Matte Mat3 Lipstick?
No to both; mostly because if it says matte I want it to be matte. Moreover the shades were not up to my liking, it is either for very fair or for very dark skin tone.
